Connecting your Discord server

4 min read

Shop-OS connects one Discord server to one account. You must be the owner of the Discord server you connect. The whole flow takes a couple of minutes:

  1. Go to app.shop-os.app and sign in with Discord.
  2. Complete your profile — first name, last name, email and country, and accept the Terms of Service.
  3. Choose your setup type on the "What are you setting up?" screen (see "Choosing a setup type").
  4. On the "Connect your Discord server" screen, pick the server from the list of servers you own. The business name is taken from the server name automatically.
  5. Choose your currency (£ GBP, $ USD or € EUR — more symbols are available in Settings later).
  6. Click "Connect Server & Continue".

Inviting the bot

If the Shop-OS bot is not in your server yet, the connect step tells you: "Shop-OS bot is not in your server yet." Click "Invite Shop-OS Bot to Server", approve the invite in Discord, then come back and click "I've invited the bot — try again". Your selections are kept, so you will not have to re-pick anything.

Note: Guild setups see one extra option here: "Enable sales tracking" — track buying and selling in your stash. You can change this later in Settings.

Heads up: If you see "This Discord server is already connected to a Shop-OS account", that server is taken — each server can only be connected once.
