Getting Started
Connecting your Discord server
4 min read
Shop-OS connects one Discord server to one account. You must be the owner of the Discord server you connect. The whole flow takes a couple of minutes:
- Go to app.shop-os.app and sign in with Discord.
- Complete your profile — first name, last name, email and country, and accept the Terms of Service.
- Choose your setup type on the "What are you setting up?" screen (see "Choosing a setup type").
- On the "Connect your Discord server" screen, pick the server from the list of servers you own. The business name is taken from the server name automatically.
- Choose your currency (£ GBP, $ USD or € EUR — more symbols are available in Settings later).
- Click "Connect Server & Continue".
Inviting the bot
If the Shop-OS bot is not in your server yet, the connect step tells you: "Shop-OS bot is not in your server yet." Click "Invite Shop-OS Bot to Server", approve the invite in Discord, then come back and click "I've invited the bot — try again". Your selections are kept, so you will not have to re-pick anything.
Note: Guild setups see one extra option here: "Enable sales tracking" — track buying and selling in your stash. You can change this later in Settings.
Heads up: If you see "This Discord server is already connected to a Shop-OS account", that server is taken — each server can only be connected once.
